12oz can (from 8/12/13) into a stemmed tulip glass.

A- Pours a light and hazy yellow-orange color. A gentle pour results in a big fluffy white head, 2-plus fingers. It tapered slowly to very thin film, minimal lacing.

S- The wheat , orange citrus, and spice come through...gently.

T- A touch of orange, some floral, light pepper. The wheat and saison yeast give it some sourness.

M- Light and crisp, tart. There's some snap from the carbonation. Finish is long and dry.

O- The fact that this beer is not aggressive is a strong point. It makes the most of its understated flavors and aromas by being true to the style and drinkable.

Can dated August 12th poured in to a Guinness pint glass.

Pours a cloudy dark yellow with a white head.

Fruity, chalky, yeasty, wheaty smell.

Taste is citrusy, slightly grassy, nice Belgian wheat. Can taste the orange already.

Mouthfeel is a little thin.

Overall, this is a very flavorful witbeer. As good as any other in the style.

I'm an avid fan of Belgian style wheat beer as well as German wheat beer.
Although I found it a bit of a challenge to remove the cans from the plastic carrier,
Florida Cracker Belgian style ale is probably the best US made wheat beer that I've had to date!

Picked up a 6er of this and drank it throughout the week in Holmes Beach, FL. Reviewed on 08/16/13, poured from a 12 oz. can into a pint glass.

a - Pours a hazy straw-yellow color with two inches of fluffy white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of spices, coriander, wheat, oranges, citrus hops, grains, bready malts, and dough. Lots of spice and citrus hops.

t - Tastes of coriander, pepper, spice, citrus hops, wheat, bready malts, grains, yeast, oranges, dough, and light lemons. Little bit more citrus here than the nose.

m - Medium body and low to moderate carbonation. Smooth and easy to drink.

o - Overall a solid Belgian style witbier; a better version of Blue Moon with more spice. Worth checking out, would have it again.
