Lucky to try this one, thanks Zack and Cam! Much different than Guava Grove.

A: Pours a bright pumpkin color with a small white cap. Retention is pretty good, nice lookin beer

S: Wow, here is where it picks up - bright ripe fruit (guava, lemon, citrus, and other tropical fruits). Juicy ripe fruit with a decent sweetness in the back. You can pick up on the tartness from the beginning.

T: Obviously this one is packed with guava. Solid lip puckering tartness followed by a natural fruit juice sweetness that balance each other out. Subtle Belgian yeast notes, slight sweetness. The finish is absolutely amazing though! It transitions from a relatively tart and indistinguishable flavor to a whole new beast of sweetness, ripe guava, and citrus. As another reviewer (and the person sampling this with me mentioned), the burp is ridiculous!

MF/O: Perfect carbonation, medium body to it. Tart and sugary guava finish.

Comparison to Guava Grove (first batch/non-funky version): this one has more fruit, more tartness, more guava flavor (obviously), and less flavors coming from the yeast. I prefer Groove to Grove

Alright it's the best summer day yet of 2012 in cuse. Not to mention the Knicks are battlin' in game 4 some I'm going to tap into this.

A- a rocket launcher of exploding carbonation slashes through a light orange body with wicked foam. The brew is light and refreshing... Slash mouth watering. Webbing laces the pint glass with an impressive look

S- a BLAST of ye local farmhouse FuNk! Beautiful clarity of yeasty flavor combined with a fruity component to make things interesting

T- megaton flavor of grassy lemon flavor enrobing in the sour theme of fruit flavor. Wow... This is mega sour flavor that borders an American wild ale. Fabulous taste

M- carbonated prickly feeling pricking the tongue and mouth

O- WOW!!! What a sour saison. I need more asap. The flavor is uplifting and advances . Go cigar city!

Pours a gold/peach color with a paper thin head that disapates into a stable ring around my ccb snifter. Aroma is powerful, strong tropical fruit notes with grapefruit in the back. Taste follows the nose, funk and pepper added. Smooth in body, easy to drink and very refreshing. I already loved guava grove, guava groove takes that amazing saison to a whole new level. Bravo CCB!
