Notes/Commercial Description:
This festive lager is our tribute to Duke Wilhelm IV's marriage hundreds of years ago, which inspired the production of the first Oktoberfest. Malty up front with notes of sweet toasted bread and a light floral bitterness. Balanced, traditional and incredibly drinkable.

12 oz can bottled on 9/3/2014 poured into a snifter.

A- amber to brown. Nice off white head with good retention.
S- bready, malty and sugar. Very pleasant
T- malty goodness with German breadiness. Touch of booziness then light floral happiness followed by crisp finish. Very tasty.
M- Good level of carbonation and feel
O- Fresh and tasty, one of the better Marzens!

12 oz. can poured into a Teku. That's right. A lager into a Teku.

Appearance - Clear deep amber body. Nice off-white head and a medium collar with a few wisps on the surface.

Smell - Bready and caramel malt. Very floral, too. Smells sweet.

Taste - Very bready up front. A bit of caramel sweetness in the middle. It gets amplified by that floral and kinda fruity flavor in the back end. Makes it seem sweeter.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Very drinkable. Well carbonated.

Overall - I don't like that floral and fruity back end. Tastes great up front, but that part doesn't seem to work with the rest of the beer.
