Bomber from CCB tasting room. Pours a clear, light orange with a tall frothy white head. Aroma is of grainy malty with orange peel. Taste is light crisp at first with the bitter orange peal most apparent. The grainy wheat shows up next with a very pleasant light maltiness. The sweetness is not sugary at all, but maintains a "yellow grapefruit" pleasantness. The beer finishes with an outstanding hoppiness, bordering on metallic. Carbonation is medium. Texture is water. Body is medium. The progression of tastes across each mouthful leads to a craving for another sip.

There is a trend on these sites to rank "big" beers higher than offerings that are lighter. Obviously, this should not be. The beer establishes a unique profile, bringing together the light sweetness of a kolsch, the smoothness of a wit, and the hoppiness of an pale ale. It is interesting and tasty. Good job CCB.

A-cloudy gold with a thin white head

S-hoppy corn and wheats and grass. smells awesome. not strong though. some citrus.

T-comes in with a great and crisp taste of grains and wheat. very pronounced tasting. its a taste that really fills the mouth. its really tastes like good fresh bread. the after-taste has subtle spice and citrus. its a really good wheat beer.

M-great crisp medium carbonation with a great crisp finish

O-this is an amazingly drinkable beer. its very enjoyable. so much flavor from such a small abv!..CCB is good at that. man, put this in cans, give me a boat, and i'll be happy! this is awesome.

What an awesome beer to stowe away on a cruise boat. It was a perfect beer for a number of reasons...#1 better than the crap the boat serves....#2 went perfect with the warmer weather. The beer pours a hazy golden color with a decent sized head, nice lacing. The aroma is nice, hops and wheat are fully in charge here. The taste is very nice for a pale wheat, yet has a nice hop push, but not overpowering. Small amount of orange peel is present at the finish. The mouthfeel is medium body and good carbonation. A very nice, sessionable ale.

A - Nicely golden and hazy with a finger of white head and great lacing

S - Sweet and wheaty and an almost pineapple hop aroma, not like an average wheat at all.

T - Clean, wheaty, Pineapple, with a surprising amount of hops, but not overpowering, very well balanced.

M - Perfect carbonation, medium body.

O- Now my favorite wheat, perhaps because it's not like any wheat I have had before and it has that Cigar City flavor that's found in a few other of their beers. Very quaffable and the 750ml wen too fast.
