Arrives a bright, clear golden amber color with a white head. Retention is just OK and no lace is left behind.
Smell is a mix of pine and citrus hops with some malt and a hint of wheat and pepper.
Taste is a clone of the nose exactly. Balance is quite good, great even.
Tangy effervescence up front fades fast to a mellow middle and finish. Medium bodied, light effervescence overall. Reasonably clean finish.

Had this last week at CCB. I got it for my wife because I thought it was "light" ale and wouldn't be too hoppy for her. Needless to say, I ended up with it while she went over to cider.
Anyway, it was a crisp and "light" in color only, ale. Not really strong enough for me in ABV or hops but very respectable for the style.

On tap at CCB. Pours a hazy gold with a good amount of white head, decent lacing, thick wisps and a medium collar. Aroma is tangerine and floral hops with a little cedar. Taste is really cedary, some of the citrus as well. Medium body and carbonation.

16 oz pour into a pilsner glass.
A: Pours a clear golden yellow with a one finger white head. Dissipates after a minute or two leaving a nice covering of lacing on the sides. Average amount of visible carbonation.
S: Great citrus hop aroma, grapefruit and mango dominate. Pine characteristics are very intense from the cedar.
T: Very good pale ale, starts off with a hop bouquet. Hops are similar to the aroma, citrus with a strong pine backing. Finish is what makes this beer great, very robust malt comes forward. It's a light malt but the flavor is a perfect compliment to the hop.
M: Medium body with ample carbonation. Crisp and refreshing finish.
Overall the cedar really gives this a unique taste. A very smooth pale ale that is real good for only being available at the airport.

32 oz. poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - Hazy orange body. Pours with a small white head. Faint surface wisps.
Smell - Citrus and tropical fruit hops. And then a bucket of diacetyl. Ugh.
Taste - Zesty orange. Grainy. Interesting hop flavor. Like a spicy orange hop finish. Tastes really good and then diacetyl.
Mouthfeel - Medium light. Low carbonation.
Overall - Could have been an interesting pale ale. Just a diacetyl bomb.
