Consumed from 12 oz. can

A - Drank directly from the can, so I didn't see it.

S - Tropical and floral fragrances exude from the open can. Mango, melon, clementine, and honey all are in the mix.

T - Very similar to the smell, but with a stronger clementine and tangerine presence - likely from Simcoe hops. The malt imparts a cracker flavor mixed with an almost strawberry sweetness. Just the slightest hint of bitterness on the dry and tropical finish.

M - Pleasantly medium bodied with a balanced carbonation.

O - A great session beer. Different from many pale ales out there due to the vivaciousness of the hops and dryness of the malt. Worth checking out!

Poured from a freshness dated can: bright and clear, golden-orange hue with some suspended particles observed. The foamy white-head was long-lived with a lot of intricate lacing on the glass.

Semi-sweet tropical fruit is the dominate aroma with perhaps a little pine wafting upward.

This is truly a refreshing thirst quencher. The flavor has a gentle, tropical fruit flavor with a lingering tangy, malty and semi-dry finish. This is not incredibly complex, but each sip remains satisfying.

This will have a regular rotation in my fridge.

Mini review: canned 10-1-14,

Rock solid pale ale. Low bitterness, very fruity hop character, like lots of Centennial or NZ hops without the funkiness, pretty bready finish. Wish it were drier, but all told really great "throw it back" pale ale. Can't imagine this beer selling badly.
