Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at CCB tasting room. Served in a pint glass.
A: Light to medium amber, nearly completely clear with a thin off-white head and a low amount of visible carbonation.
S: Lightly toasted malts, pilsner malts, a bit grainy, with just a background of grassy and citrus hops.
T: Follows the nose. Significant graininess present, and more malt forward than most other APAs offered from CCB - just a bit of grass and lemony-citrus hop character. The overall impression I get is that of a moderately hoppy lager, rather than a nice APA.
M: Light body, medium carbonation sensation, and low alcohol presence.
O: This one really falls short for me. It wasn't unpleasant, but just not the best effort from CCB - which seems to be happening with a lot of their collaborations. I was told that this was a recipe that a GWAR band member came to the brewery with, rather than being a CCB recipe of any sort.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper color with small off white head. Mango grapefruit hop aroma with biscuity malt in the background. Smooth light malty flavor with some tropical hops. Slightly dirty finish. Lowish carbonation. Similar to a mild ale or Cali Common, honestly. Just OK at best.

12 oz. can poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Clear golden body. Small white head. A couple of wisps.
Smell - Slight citrus hop. Some grain. Lots of pale malt.
Taste - Citrus hop. Malty as hell. There's a strange sharp flavor in the back end. A bit of bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Low carbonation. Medium body. Sharp almost tangy flavor.
Overall - It has that unique Cigar City off flavor. Take from that what you will.
