Been here a bunch and my review wont vary much from most others. Located in an industrial area and it doesn’t look like much from the outside. Inside it’s a very nice little bar area with the brewery attached next store. Bathrooms are in the brew area so you get a little walk by tour. I have always been treated well here even when just popping in to fill growlers. Taps vary greatly but they always have Jai Alai and Maduro. Not everything will be available for growler fills so check the board. Its marked as to what is and is not ok for fills. Best bet for a new drinker to CC is get a flight or two. There is a good variety always. I love that they also put other Florida brewers on tap. Bottles can be purchased as well and at times they have neat one offs there as well. Ask for what they have.
You really cannot go wrong here. I visit about 6 times a year on business and have a habit of booking a hotel close. You will need to walk home…slowly…

Was in town and decided to stop by for a tour and a few beers. The tour was nice but only showed the small old brewery which I'm guessing is just used for the one offs in the bar. However when I was wandering outside and looking into their big main brewery, a super nice employee invited us In for a quick tour. He even gave us all a super fresh can of jai lai right off the canning line! Very cool to see compared to the small older brewery. Spotted a few brandy barrels with "huna" written on them.
The bar area was nice, a smaller one up front with a much bigger one towards the rear. Lots of cool interesting stuff on tap. However, I was a little disappointed that they really didn't have many bottles for sale to go. Only there year round simple canned offerings.
Worth a visit if your in the tampa area.

While in Tampa, a friend and I decided to visit Cigar City Brewing. The overall selection of beers available on tap was outstanding and the Cuban sandwiches were very enjoyable. However, the experience would have been very pleasant had it not been for the condescending and rude female bartender on duty. She constantly overcharged every bar order and when this occurred with the second round of ordered drinks, she became very bitchy with my friend, after she pointed out the overcharge. The bartender would take our credit card back and claim that she would fix the problem. The bartender did not resolve the issue and in all reality, she charged us for more beer. In the end, according to my online bank statement, I paid $27.00 dollars for two beers and one flight of beers. When visiting Cigar City Brewing pay close attention to your credit card purchases if there is a short, dark haired, female bartender with glasses, behind the bar.

Though I've not been to many brewpubs, this one is not 10 minutes from my home, and is located on the way home from work. I could not think of a better place to sit down with some friends and hang out over some tasty brews. The atmosphere is very laid back, promoting good conversation and truly enjoying the beer in your glass with friends. There's always something outstanding available to try, and the people could not be more helpful in selecting which beer is right for your taste. I'm a hardcore believer in Cigar City Brewing, and I hope to see many a fellow BA there with me!
