Great to live within walking distance of this place. In the shadow of Boston Beer Company.
Parking is in a nearby lot and plentiful.
This place can be really crowded during the summer so go early or during off hours.
Beer list features 12 taps. An IPA of the month, and numerous bottles. One gluten free offering.
Waitstaff is very knowledgable about what is served. Friendly to boot.
Food pairs VERY well with the beer. The food here is some of the best and most affordable in Boston. My wife and I love coming here.
Pizza is thin crust, inventive toppings. however, I have had entrees here that are equally enjoyable.
Do Doyle's another time, walk over to here instead.

Met some friends here for a drink and some apps, and its a pretty decent spot. A little modern for my liking, but the bar and menu are pretty good.
Everything we had was good, the pizza, apps, etc - and the beer was properly poured. A little trendy, and the video game area was a little too high school/college for me. Everything was generally good, but the highlight for me was trying out Sun Ray Ale for the first time - if you like a witbier, this is worth a shot.
Service was attentive, but not particularly beer knowledgeable. More of a restaurant feel than anything else, and there were a bunch of families there. Beer selection was great on the Sam Adams side, and there were a few other brews you wouldn't expect to see in a place like this.

This is the first time that I've visited Bella Luna/Milky Way since it changed locations. I've always been a fan, and was excited to see the new digs.
The new place is outstanding! The decor is very chic, but homey, with a bit of an artsy kick to it. In the new venue, they no longer have bowling, sadness. However, skeeball was to be their replacement. Alas - skeeball has been nixed after the clientele somewhat changed and unsupervised youth had an incident.
Given proximity to the Sam Adams Brewery, Bella Luna/Milky Way specializes in both draft and bottled Sam Adams products - including a beer brewed specifically FOR them, the Sun Ray Ale. They also have a nice selection of additional American Craft Beers. On Tap - Arrogant Bastard, #9, Victory Prima Pilsner, DFH 60 Min IPA, Anchor Porter. Bottled - Adams Hefe, Allagash White, Brooklyn Pennant, Longtrail Double Bad, and more.
The service was a bit lacking - he was nice enough, but with the size of our party, could have been more attentive as the restaurant wasn't all that busy. It's really the only thing I found needing improvement in this establishment.
The food here is outstanding. We got their BBQ Cheese Fries, my god I will be craving these! I got their goat cheese and ratatouille ravioli which was outstanding. I've had their pizza's before (at the old location) and hot damn those are good eats as well!
Total thumbs up on the new digs!
