Swiss Beer Collection No 00/26 Kuhl Lagern. 4.8% ABV. Aluminum can acquired in Zurich and served into a generic drinking glass. Reviewed from notes taken June 2010.
A: Pours a two finger head of very slight cream, fair thickness, and poor retention. Body colour is a clear yellow.
Sm: Light barley. That's it. Boring, simple, and bland.
T: Flat cream and stale barley. Bleh. Crisp but poorly built and balanced. Just downright bad.
Mf: Smooth, wet, and flat. Unnatural and forced. It kind of helps the flavours but only in the sense that it prevents me from having to fully experience them.
Dr: Low quality and drinkability. Avoid this one. More macro garbage from Heineken.

50cl Can: brought back from Switzerland by my Son-in-Law. Poured into a Duvel glass at home on 22nd Oct 13.
Pale yellow/gold with a full, but fading white head, instant wisp and collar.
Bland, boring and semi-dry in nature. This had nothing going for it. Almost odourless and tasteless with no redeeming features, getting more and more metallic as it warmed.
It may well be refreshing after a day skiing or chasing cows with bells on, but sat at home in Shropshire tasting different beers it failed on all fronts. It did follow wheat beers from Northern Ireland and Denmark, so maybe I should have had it first? Even so it was very poor.

0.5l can served in an chalice glass.
A: Pours a golden yellow to orange color forming a big fluffy white head. Medium to low retention and some lacings left
S: Very characteristic Heineken smell of malt and grassy/skunky and citric hops. Perhaps more malty than the regular Heineker Lager
T: As the nose, sweet grains, skunky hops, cardboard, Lager yeasts. End is reasonably bitter
M: Very light body and high carbonated. A refreshing session beer
O: No that bad. Heineken smell and taste trademark
