Brouwerij Huyghe 'Fruli' Strawberry Beer @ 4.1% , served from a foil wrapped 330 ml bottle
A-pour is a light pink from the bottle to a hazy pink in the glass with a small size pinkish head leaving a fine spotty lace along the teku glass
S-strawberries
T-sweet & fruity , true strawberry ale , slight hint of tartness thru-out including the swallow
MF-ok carbonation , light body
Ov-would be better as a summer brew , light & refreshing

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a pinkish red color with a puffy head of pink colored foam. The head is fizzy, and fades rather fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heavy of a strawberry jam aroma mixed with smells of bread and a bit of spice. Smells very much of toast and strawberry jam.
Taste – The taste begins with a very sweet strawberry flavor mixed with other light grain and cracker malt tastes. As the taste advances the strawberry jam flavor gets stronger, while a touch of yeast and hay join in, in the end, leaving one with a rather sweet strawberry toast taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium and heavier then would be anticipated for a 4.1 % brew, with a carbonation level that is higher. For the strawberry and bread flavors of the brew the slightly thicker body for the style is nice and makes for a more dessert like sipper.
Overall- Really tastes like toast and strawberry jam in liquid form. A fun dessert brew

From the bottle in a snifter via our friend from across the pond---Cheers Keith!
This unique brew pours a reddish pink color with a faintly pink head of foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of strawberry,
faint wheat, and candy sugar. Flavors follow the nose with strawberry, subtle white bread,
and light candy sugar. Mouth feel is medium light, medium light soft carbonation, and a
sweet finish.

Overall---like a strawberry New York Seltzer. Unique! Cheers!

Look :- Hot pink , light pink head that goes quickly but leaves decent lacing . Highly carbonated.

Smell :- Strawberries and a tiny hint of wheat .

Taste :- Sweet strawberry, then mild bitterness and way in the background a little wheat .

Mouth feel:- Fizzy , thick .

Overall:- It's got real fruit , not flavouring, and you can tell . No chemical taste at all . Really sweet, almost to pop sweetness but not quite, but tasty .

250 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.1%. Cloudy brownish red colour, large pinkish head. Intense sweet aroma and flavour of strawberry jam and artificial "strawberry" candy bars, kind of sickly and sugary. Not undrinkable though. If blindfolded, I would probably not have guessed that this was a beer at all. Not my cup of tea (uh, beer) this one, but people who love candy and strawberry soda might like it.

I've now reviewed all eight of Huyghe's with Chicagoland distribution. Fruli is not my favorite Huyghe, but it could be among my Top Five fruities.

By Looks, Fruli is barely above average. Like a lot of fruities, Fruhli has a pretty color... particularly in the sunlight; but the foam/yeast action could be bubblier. (Even considering that this bottle seems to be two years past its printed Best By date.)
Smells are strawberry and some citrus. Tastes never get saccharine sweet and I'm not sure why or how. And that sets Fruli apart from the field. It sits softly in my mouth (must be that wit allusion.) A nice drying sensation, possibly from the wit-like spices.

Huyghe is on my BBBL (Belgian Brewer Bucket List), primarily for its Delirium line-up; but is probably on the B team (that is, if the tour goes past 10 days.) Their BSPA yeasts and recipes are among the best and I'm curious about that gets working into those brews that don't get distributed here.
