Pinkish, grapefruit colored ale with a bubbly, quickly diminishing white foam. Awful aroma reminds me of a protein smoothie, with notes of strawberry and tangerine. Way too sweet, one dimensional. No real reason for this beer to exist. Hardly any alcohol. Expensive. A better alternative is a cocktail of some kind, or a vitamin water. Huyghe sucks.

Hmmmm, strawberry frozen yoghurt, strawberry Starburst, really sweet and candy-ish, way too sweet to be taken seriously, but not a total loss, some tartness, but its too sweet, like Belle-vues sweetened fruit beers. Too much of a candied cheery flavour, too sweet.

Another one of those witbiers blended with fruit that seem to be popping up everywhere. The label says it is made "with natural and artificial flavors added." An immediate turn off. Keep your artificial flavors out of my beer!
A-Pours the color of Hawaiian punch with a thin pink head.
S-Like sweet, fake strawberry juice. No hint of wheat beer in here.
T-Pretty awful. Tastes exactly like what you'd get if you mixed one of those mass produced, from concentrate fruit juices with a low quality, adjunct riddled macro wit like Blue Moon. It's not often that I get pissed off while drinking a beer.
M-Thin and syrupy, with very little carbonation.
D-This beer is a joke. Avoid like the plague.

The beer is hazy strawberry red, the head is pink, recedes quickly and leaves some lacing.
The smell is fruity, clearly strawberries and some green apples, some yeast and a bit perfume.
The taste is very sweet and fruity, a bit like jelly beans. Definitely strawberries, but also some lime juice. A short bitterness, lemon peel.
The carbonation is rather high, a light body. A bit sticky sweetness gives you a soda feeling.
Well, if you're into fruit beers there is plenty of fruit in this one. For me a bit too much, it is not a beer in my brain.

A: This is not an aesthetically pleasing as far as beer goes, but it would make a pretty candle. It pours a cloudy, opaque pink-red with a thin layer of pinkish bubbles that dissipate quickly and leave no semblance of lacing. The least I can say is that it is interesting.
S: strawberry, they hit hard and they hit fast and leave no room for other smells to mingle in. It’s a nice smell, but not appetizing for a beer; even a fruit beer.
T: Once again there is an overpowering strawberry flavor that is actually cloying and a bit too much. And once again, this is just too fruity for a fruit beer; I detect no hops, malt, or anything beer like about this.
MF: no surprises here: syrupy, little carbonation, diabetes inducing and chewy. I expect a fruit beer to be more light and enjoyable on a hot day, but this is just too filling.
O: This seems like it should be classified as a strawberry cider. It would be ok as strawberry cider; but as far as this goes for being a “fruit beer,” no way. To sweet and heavy and I would most likely turn this down even if offered it for free. I will say that if I can get my girlfriend (who adamantly hates beer) to Johansson’s to try this and she liked it I would get a bottle on some special occasions just for her.

Poured from the mini 8.4 oz bottle into a pint glass, beer is a dark orange/red/pink color with a thin, effervescent head. The smell is all strawberries, somewhat artificial - reminds me of a strawberry soda. The taste is the same, all strawberries. If I didn't know this was beer, I would think it was pop. Overly sweet and artificial tasting, no balance. The mouthfeel is thin and has a carbonation that again, reminds me of soda pop. Drinkability would depend on how much you wanted to drink beer or "beer". I was looking for an actual beer that had hints of strawberries... I got a strawberry drink that doesn't even resemble beer.

Had this one on-tap at RattlenHum served out of a Delerium Tremens snifter.
A: Served with a quarter finger white, wispy, fine head. Brew is light, semi-cloudy pinkish red. Lacing is lightly stringy with no stick.
S: Ever have Minute-Maid strawberry kiwi juice? EXACTLY like that.
T: Starts off with strawberry and perhaps some other unidentified ripe red fruit. Extremely sweet and this flavor kind of just fades, getting less and less sweet as the experience continues. I keep hoping I get something else but that's it. Plain ole' strawberry.
M: Light bodied and rather carbonated. Extremely wet in the mouth and finishes like water. Near no aftertaste.
D: Thanks but no thanks on this one. I want a beer not carbonated minute-maid juice, which is what this is. In fact... in retrospect, I'd probably rather have the juice instead.

First of style.
Ok - I dunno how to score a deep red beer.... it looks kind of OK but plain wrong! Head dies - lace is great. Strawberry jam colour.
Aromas of tinned strawberries and strawberry jam.
Taste is like fizzy strawberry juice straight out of the tin. Hops? yeah right.... The cloying overbearing sweetness just becomes too much by the end - and it's only a 250ml bottle.
Mouthfeel is fizzy like soda. Tastes sickly sweet and watery at the same time.
Nope - not for me. Novelty value only. And $$$ xxx-y for small bottle.
Last of style?

Technically, it's a beer but in practice it's pretty much like a strawberry softdrink. Cloudy, blood orange juice look. Smelling like strawberry jello, quickly disappearing foam. A sticky smell of artificial strawberry flavor. Sweet taste similar to jello, tastes watery after a while. The beer is perhaps hinted by a touch of bitterness and bread in the aftertaste? There are a lot of better fruit beers around...

8.4 ounce bottle - $3.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Slips out a clouded, dulled, pinkish-red body with a scant, bubbly head.
Smell: Notably sweet-scented with the strawberry additive and in no way evocative of a beer. Candy, syrup, soda, gum, maybe.
Taste: Sugary sweet strawberry-flavored candy given a small twinge of acidity. Wait, you're telling me there's a witbier under all this sugar? Get oughta here! No, I mean it, leave immediately.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Lightly carbonated.
Overall: Man, that was one pricey alcopop!

A - Pours bright pink with a light head.
S - "Bright" strawberry flavor....not really artificial strawberry...not really real strawberry.
T - A smoother (and more expensive) Boones Farm Strawberry Hill
M - Carbonation was lively :-)
D - Caught it on sale for $2 a bottle so I picked up a couple for the wife. If you want to drink with your girl and she doesn't like beer -> then pick this up for her...because it's not really like beer.

Since my encounter with strawberry smell in a beer with Old Horizontal Barleywine, I decided on a whim to actively seek out and acquire the most 'Strawberriffic' beer in existence, and this is rumored to be it.
Pours a strange pinkish red color. Head is somewhat foamy but quickly recedes, with some lovely lacing patterns. There is a sickly aroma of those individually wrapped strawberry candies that absolutely assaults and overwhelms your senses. Very much like jam, preserves, or that artificial filling in the middle of your jelly donuts.
Can't smell or taste any malts at all. The only indication of a "beer" here is merely a very faint yeasty twinge underneath the massive explosion of sugary noxious cloying donut filling. And it coats your mouth like donut filling, as well, ruining the mouthfeel.
This in my mind fits more into the category of an alcopop than a beer. Or maybe one of those sickly sweet wine coolers that your casual drinker friend likes. But for my money, I might as well measure out a teeny tiny splash of vodka into strawberry Kool-Aid, it would taste just as terrible in the end for much less cash.

Appearance: Pours a very pretty salmon pink color with a pinkish head; the retention is decent though it doesn't leave much evidence behind
Smell: A cross between strawberry jam and cough drops
Taste: Tastes like a cross between strawberry jam and cough drops, but leans more to the cough drop side
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: I thought this was supposed to be a strawberry-infused wit, but I cannot detect any wit elements

Poured this 8.4 oz brown bottle into a Lindemans flute. No date. The pink head had some sustain and the body was orange/pink and lightly cloudy.
Smell was yummy strawberry jam, not much else.
Taste was primarily sweet, with some tartness. The label states "artificial flavors" which, had I spotted before I purchased it, would have kept me from buying it. Strawberry soda really.
Mouthfeel was medium in body. Adequate carbonation. The body thins out toward the end. I would not buy this one again.
