A-Nice-looking clear yellow-gold with billowy head, good retention.
S-Biscuity malt, honey and juicy fruit, spice, faint banana, Belgian yeast w/faint gunpowder.
T-Was initially hit by a metallic taste on the first sip, but subsided. Even rich pale malt with lots of spicy phenols, light fruit, big bouquet in the finish with blast of spice, dry hops, and alcohol.
M-Medium-bodied with full-flavor, alcohol heat, evenly balanced with moderate carbonation that is just right.
D-A pretty hefty beer. I like it a lot, but I only want one every few months, and one at a sitting. A filling, satisfying beer.
