A: Opaque golden honey in color with a big fluffy white head that sticks around and provides some barnacle like lacing. Tons of floating yeast clumps.
S: Tart exotic fruit scents matched with some baked fruit scents. Definite pepper and some medicinal scents in there. Some slight tart citrus poking through as well.
T: Follows the nose with some spicy exotic fruits, baked fruit, and pepper flavors. Some tart citrus flavors with some medicinal flavors and alcohol warmth on the finish. More pepper and spice than I would have guessed, but not in a bad way.
MF: Medium light that finishes with a bite.
Overall: The first time I reviewed this beer my palate wasn't quite up to par. More than a year later I went back to this brew and glad I did. A near classic!
