Poured from chilled bottle into a Delrium Tremens tulip glass.
Generous amount of fluffy white head that shrinks away with a good amount of lacing. Boasts a bright gold to yellow hue and a mild amount of haze. The beer is also peppered by floating sediment which I have noticed is a common feature of Delirium Tremens. I allow the sit so the sediment can settle.
The nose takes in well balanced mixture of citrus fruits and spice. Slight malt odors are also available.
Taste is not as complex as the nose mainly because its heavy on the lemon and pear flavors which are enhanced by a healthy degree of spice. The finish comes in two stages when the initial hit of hops gives way to a strong alcohol presence.
