2/4 of a sampler at Tyler's.
Light body with a small head. But the smell has a dull peppery spice with a good bit of an odd smell that took my until I finished it to figure it out. its beef jerky. Odd I know, but Im sure.
The taste has banana with a strong malt backbone. I like how theres an amazing balance between fruity yeast and sweet malt. It goes down so smooth and way too easy for a Belgian Pale.
Serving type: on-tap

I've enjoyed a fair share of DT over the years. I've had it both on tap and in their ceramic coated bottles. I recommend having it on draft if possible. The bottles are sometimes off and the flavor just isn't the same. With distribution from Europe, you have no idea how long those bottles have been sitting in a hot New Jersey warehouse.
In it's prime, it pours golden with a beautiful head. In bottles, yeast will be at the bottom of the bottle.
It doesn't smell nearly as good as it tastes. Smells of ale and slight sweetness.
Taste is fruity, spicy, and very sweet. In its prime, I taste banana, orange, coriander, cinnamon, and molasses.
Overall, it's a great beer. I like the overpowering sweetness. It's something I can appreciate with food or by itself.
