on tap at the office: poured to a delerium tremens tulip yields a puffy two finger head that does not want to go away. and when it does receed, lace sticks around the glass, making the pink elephants look like they're floating in the clouds. the body is a very pale straw color, which is mostly clear.
i smell that herbal / distinctive yeast aroma right away. there's also some fruitiness in there, and some sweetness and a touch more of spiciness. interesting.
in a different glass, most would assume it's just helles or something like that. the taste is quite nice. not sweet, but more bitter and refined. fruity tastes are to be found, some spicy notes as well. can't really taste that abv. wow.
medium bodied and well carbonated. if it were thicker it would be an oily mess which wouldn't go over so well.
quite drinkable. especially given the abv. if i didn't know better (which i don't always) i'd imagine throwing back more than one. and then some hijinx or mayhem would ensue.
