The Delirium line has a great reputation, and perhaps it's high expectations that led to disappointment.
It pours with an outstanding golden color, just a touch on the dark side, and an inviting cloudy haze.
The smell was very good as well. The combination of spices and wheat let you know before the first sip that this will be a Belgian beer experience.
The taste for me was good, but not exceptional. Certainly not up to expectations. It has all of what you expect in a Belgian beer: yeast and wheat, combined with spices. It's a little fruity among the finish, but not overly so. Like many higher alcohol beer, it's quite noticeable.
Overall, this was a drinkable and enjoyable beer, but not outstanding to me. I'll drink it again, but for the price, I'll look to some other choices first.
