33 cl bottle from the Utah sytem poured into my beer goblet. For what it is worth, the 2 and the 10 are notched on the back label, a dating system to be sure, but I cannot figure it out.

Appearance: Ugly yeast floaties, but a beautiful two fingered head sit on top of a slightly hazy golden beer. There is a huge amount of effervescence coming off this beer which adds to the rocky white head and dancing floaties. This beer has some nice lacing, would score a five but for the floaties.

Smell: Carbon dioxide tartness at first. Fruity easters, mild clove like spicyness add to an overall yeasty nose. Hay, grass and herbal characteristics also mix in nicely.

Taste: The taste really follows the nose. A soft stone fruit note dances along with a mild hop bitterness. The yeast and thier phenols are the main player here. This is a full flavored beer.

Mouthfeel: The body is middle approaching full. The carbonation is strong but not harsh. (If you close your mouth before swallowing, you can hear the carbonation pop in your ears.) The flavors have no trouble coating the mouth in his full flavored beer.

Overall: This is a solid example of the style no doubt. I am glad to have tried it. But for the coast this could be a more common beer for me. I simply like other choices (even local ones) a little more for my beer dollar. Would have no trouble recommending this, as long as I warned the consumer about the floaties.

This beer poured out as a hazy golden color with a solid looking white head on top. The smell of the beer gives off some banana aromas with some sweet grains in there too. The taste of the beer is sweet, refreshing, spicy and a little fruity. the mouthfeel is smooth and light. Overall this brew is very good in my opinion. It's surely one to try when you get the chance too.

So here's the thing ... we found this bottle solo at a local beer store. The bottle looks a little weathered and on the back label the numbers 1, possibly 4, and 10 are ticked. Whatever the grade, keep this is in mind ...

A- Pours a light yellow with a sizable white head that disappears almost immediately leaving a ring of head around the edges and coming up from the etching at the bottom of the goblet. There are also a lot of chunks of stuff ... which an internet search deems normal but I'm deducting points for.

S-Cidery or meadlike. Sweet with some little alcohol. A little like if canned fruit cocktail juice fermented ...

T- Sweet with some bitterness and maybe even a little sour (throw salt in their and I've covered all my taste bases)... like fermented apple cider.

M- Dry, maybe even champagne-like.

O- The appearance is just so far out of my comfort zone, I can't not penalize it. That said, the taste, smell and mouthfeel were fine, but not stunning in any way. No need to ever try this again, but maybe it's for the connoisseurs.
