Appearance- clear golden yellow with small amount of carbonation as bubbles can be seen floating up the glass, big thick billowing white head, some sediment
Smell- malt, spice, citrus, corriander
Taste- slightly malty and sweet up front but rounded out nicely by drying spice on the finish, i really enjoy the way this beer is balanced and the flavor of the finish of the beer which is long and lingering
Mouthfeel- light bodied smooth and refreshing
Overall/drinkability- this beer thought i dont find to be super complex is pretty refreshing and smooth, the flavor is overall pretty nice and enjoyable, i think overall belgian pale ales arent my favorite style but if you do like them this one is pretty drinkable

From notes, poured into a tulip glass. Pours a hazy yellowish hue with an ample head white head (about two fingers worth). The carbonation is fairly aggressive, with fine champagne like bubbles rising to the top of the glass. The smell is slightly grassy with hints of grain, citrus, lemon, hops, and a solid malt backbone. The taste is crisp, with hints of citrus, lemon, pepper, and hops. The mouthfeel is medium verging on heavy bodied. Overall, not my favorite example of the style. Not a bad beer by any means, but, one that doesn't take any real risk or bring any stand out quality to the brew.

A- A cloudy golden pour with a two finger head that settles in at one finger after dissapating a little bit.
s- banana and spicy phenol and yeast, fruity esthers, some tropical fruit.
t- a wheaty and fruity beginning, then bananas and clove, finish is dry spiciness and sweet maltiness.
O- a really nice beer that I was surpised by. I knew it would be good, but I expected another duvel. This is not much like Duvel, and it really is pretty unique.

T: behins with a nice lemon zest the kicks in a very smooth wheat note which lingers on the palate in an interesting almost oily way
M: smooth and just a bit of carbonation

Poured from 12oz into Chimay chalice.
A - Big tall paper-white head dissipating slowly. Very beery in color, a clear golden gleam. Some floaties riding around in the glass.
S - Potent, I can smell it and its several feet away. Duvel. Banana ester, hops.
T - Smells just like Duvel, tastes nothing like it. Fruity (estery), refreshing, definitely a lot of banana as well as other fruitiness I cannot pinpoint. Light malt and hops also present, but not forward.
M - Light for a somewhat large beer. Very drinkable, a slight warming in the chest after swallowing.
O - Not living up to what for me had been a lot of hype. Still a really good beer, just nothing I'll rush out and grab again in the near future. I have Noel and Nocturnum, and am expecting I'll favor those to the Tremens. Still, recommended to any fan of pale ales.
