Served in a over sized wine glass.

Appearance: very light amber and light bubbles though the body.

Smell: smells like nothing. Yes you already smelled it without drinking it.

Taste: So much going on here and you are left yeast, hops, barley. Did I forget how great it tastes. One sip isn't enough to judge you need the whole glass and don't even share it.

Mouth: medium to heavy and sup sticky taste. Mmmm

Overall: Amazing how weak the smell is and how great it tastes, I mean the difference could rename the beer to "oxymoron". Still regardless it smells like nada but it is still a man among boys. Salud.

This thing hits that perfect translucent golden hue the best Belgians flaunt like peacock feathers: it really pops. There's a billowing white had for a while, giving way to pervasive lacing and a solid thin cap. Pretty.

Smells of the usual supects: bananas, apples, warm spice, wheaty deliciousness.. but with a precise design that stacks them up in surprising/fresh manner. It's more acute than expected.

Tastes of everything the nose implied with a dose of sweetness, maybe honey, lending balance to everything sharp.

Mouthfeel is everything the style indicates taken to a laser focus. Carbonation strikes a fine balance between hearty and burning, but it's worthy.

I always thought Nocturnum was better, but maybe I'm changing sides.

A classic! This one pours a bubbly, but clear pale golden color and a fizzy white head. A little esther in the aroma as well as a fruity character. I pick up apple and something a little more tropical. The carbonation and fruitiness make for a little pucker upon each sip. For this style of beer, it's near perfect. That, along with the unique packaging make for a really cool beer.
