Pour a dark weather copper color with a minimal head from an 11.2 oz bottle at 48 degrees from my cellar.
There are a multitude of yeasties floating around in the brew.
The nose seems light as my allergies are kicking in fell swing. Bummer.
What a rich brew! Flavors of malt and cocoa. It's almost like an after-dinner mud-slide drink -- kahlua, chocolate with hint or warming alcohol.
the creamy mouthfeel and light carbonation make the a please for the touch sense of my tongue.
Overall, a nice drinkable strong brown ale. I do prefer the Canadian Maudite to the beer in style. Nonetheless, pouring from this creamy bottle with blue foil is exciting.
