Brewed only for the Christmas and New Year, Noël complete the "Delirium" trilogy. Its appearance is a superb warm copper to red color, recalling "Nocturnum" except in its taste. It hides its subtlety by multiple levels of flavor and should be approached with confidence, with a tinge typical Christmas, sauced with a sweet touch, then bitterness.

330ml bottle poured in a chalice.
Lovely and traditional BSDA. Sweet and malty with the strong and delicious taste of Belgium yeasts.
A: Dark amber and clear color. with a ruge beige aired and bubbled head which dissipates quickly leaving almost no lacings
S: Sweet and roasted malts and the delicious Belgium yeasts. A bit fruity (reminds plums and raisins). Fresh earthy hoppy. Bit alcoholic end
T: Better part. Sweet upfront. Very malty and fruity with a light bitter hoppy end. A bit metallic. Could be a bit less sweet and a bit more bitter IMHO. Delicious Belgium yeasts aftertaste
M: Creamy medium body and medium carbonation
D: Good. No mistake, another delicious Delirium specimen. Enjoy it!

750ml corked & caged bottle picked up at Growlers on Main in Polson, MT
Poured into a Baerlic Belgian-style tulip
2021 vintage
P murky deep amber/chestnut w/ a 1f foamy white head
N med to med-bold fruity notes (banana, maybe some apricot), yeast, Belgian candi sugars; bright and inviting
T candi sugars and honey, supplemented by light fruitiness; some spicing in there as well, simple, smooth, and tasty; the 10% abv is well hidden
Mf med-bodied w/ med-high carb
O not a bad Belgian winter ale by any means; good flavor and drinkability; I dig it more than the Corsendonk Christmas Ale I revisited yesterday

Beautiful pour of reddish brown body and a vigorous fluffy tan head. Great lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast, spice, dark fruit. Taste included some ester / banana notes, clove , nutmeg, some sweet dark fruit and a balancing bitterness, but nothing overpowering. Feel was a touch light for me…expected a bit more heft in the mouthfeel. Nice carbonation. Overall I enjoyed this brew. I’m not a fan of the big banana/estery/heavy Belgian spicy taste in some strong ales, but this one was dialed back enough for me to enjoy

The pour is garnet colored. The taste is raisins, prunes, brown bread, grains, banana, toasted caramel, & a hint of clove. The 10% abv is well. Overall, I'm not usually a fan of this beer style but this one is an exception. Cheers! B

330 ml bottle poured into a Spiegelau wheat beer glass.
L: Hazy amber, big fluffy off-white head, decent lace.
S: Light spice, bready malt, plum.
T: Malty, medium sweetness balanced by subtle spice flavor.
F: Medium-weight, crisp with an underlying creaminess.
O: Good, though not as good as Delirium Nocturnum.

Tap hit at V&B, Toulouse, France.
Display is a fine creamy foam above dark amber ale.
Aroma is spiced cake, orange, little bruleed banana.,
Taste brings orange zest, candij sugar, cinnamon toast, Belgian yeast, little clove note. Finishes nice, bready, spicy. The ABV doesn’t dominate the overall profile.
Medium body, creamy, low to medium carbonation.
Overall, ding your ho ho ho bell.,

2022 bottle poured into correct glassware. 750ml bottle. Pours a dark and opaque orange with an abundance of head. Dissipates relatively quickly with good lacing. The nose is really smooth. Pizza dough, Belgian yeast, slight cinnamon, mild caramel, raisin, stone fruit.
The taste is really nice. Interesting mingling of sweet and bitter. Definitely getting some oak and leather, with an earthy influence. Candy, yeast, plums, apricot, and bread. Lovely.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a really nice toffee/wood aftertaste. The ABV is there, but it's not too boozy.

Date Code L19 21 183 , so July 7th, 2021. Let sit out for 20 minutes before oipening.
Translucent medium-dark reddish brown, with one finger of light tan head, that leaves a surface sheet, and a few spots of lacing.
Smell is , fig, raisin, a vague mix of other dried fruit, and some slight toffee. Some light brandy-ish booz y aroma in the background.
Taste is raisin, brown bread, tobacco, leather, and a faint date flavor towards finish. The barest hint of bitterness shows up at the end, and lingers awhile.
Feel is light-medium, smooth, barely-slick, initially creamy , with light, very, very fine carbonation bite towards the end. Slight drying sensation after finish. Other than a slight internal warmth after the first couple of sips, the 10% abv is not noticeable.
Overall , well-balanced, and dangerously easy-drinking. A pleasure. I'm encouraged to have this again, & maybe look for a fresher specimen , but am well-satisfied at hows this aged.
