Massive carbonation with a huge head of foam about an inch thick. Golden colored with a bit of haziness. Aroma of green apples and Belgian candy sugar. I also get a bit of a Belgian yeast strain in the aroma with some pale malt. The flavor is pale malt,Pale malt and a Belgian yeast strain. Mouthfeel is a bit carbonated but dry and smooth. Taste and mouthfeel are very good, but overly carbonated and the aroma is Ok.

3cl bottle bought and consumed in Budapest at a little cafe in front of Staint Stephans catherdral. Dull spritzy gold, medium sized white head with some foamy lace.

Smell is very nice, somewhat saison like quinine and limestone, tropical fruits, softer but complex.

Taste has the nice tropical esters but also some soapiness, robust hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel is dry and light.

Drinkability is solid, very nice and textured blonde, depth of flavor, balance, some nuance.

Poured from 11.2oz bottle into Chimay goblet.

A - Hazy medium gold with a creamy, thick, white head.

S - Tart funk, wet straw, woody, citrus, lemony.

T - Sweet malt followed by bitter orange peel, dried apricot, a grassy finish. Definite spicy, yeasty funk.

M - Sharp, stinging carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden.

Complex and interesting. I enjoyed this one.

appearance = golden pour with a great lacy small/medium white head, a bit hazy

smell = fruity - hint of banana, pineapple, mandarins/oranges. Spicy, malty aroma

taste = very sweet fruity citrus start with a bitter finish, personally great combination, considering the ABV, not too overpowering, very pleasant and goes down smooth.

mouthfeel = creamy, great complexity of sweet/sour notes

overall = for a belgian strong, I love the sweetness start with the bitter/sour finish, easy to drink and not overpowering.
