Pours hazy cherry-brown beer with only a ring of pink foam, quickly dissipating in continuum. Fresh and rather sweet aroma of cherry, almond, yeasts. Taste is round, alcohol well-hidden, yeasts, cherries. Surprisingly, drinkable beer, but warming effect is also in place.

Had this in Monterrey, Mexico. Not my favorite fruit beer but it was still fairly refreshing.

I just finished my Beef on Weck lunch at the Buffalo Chophouse in Port St Lucie Florida.
I was surprised to see this cherry red elixir with a beautiful creamy head arrive at the table in my own Delirium goblet. It smelled and tasted of a cherry.. ale with a creaminess on the palate and a slightly tart alcohol on the finish. I completely enjoyed the taste and the slight buzz. It was my dessert. Can't wait to try it again.

Pours a solid red with half a finger of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with no lacing. Aroma of tart cherries and a trace of raspberry (maybe). Taste follows nose.

has a very deep and reflective burnt orange glow at its core, it reminds me of the late july sunsets we've been getting as of late here in ohio. smells light and fruity, the notes nail it as 'slightly sour cherries'. the taste starts with tart punch but sort of melts into the corners of your mouth, a touch too much at first but it leaves a really pleasant soft aftertaste. would be very nice to drink ice cold after you get home from a summers day with friends

Extremely delicious. It's classic Delirium with a heavy helping of cherry and elderberry - to die for!

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a medium to dark orangish red with a thin, light khaki head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of faint bready malt, cherries and raspberries; very fruit forward. Flavor is neutral malt, Belgian yeast, cherries and raspberries (actually probably the elderberries, but I'm not familiar with them). Tart cherry in the finish, with lingering cherry juice. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess and light lacing. I'm doubly impressed with this ale; I'm ambivalent about overly fruity ales and also sourness, but I liked this right off the bat. I've also found Huyghe ales nice enough, but often rather mellow and too laid back in flavor; not a problem here. There is some sweetness at first, but dries out into an authentic tasting sour cherry finish. Tastes to me much like a Belgian fruit lambic like Lindemans brews, fruity and not acidic in tartness, although the yeast seems mostly traditional Belgian and not farmhouse style. Not that complex and quite fruit forward, but I like it against my expectations.

On tap at the Mushroom Cafe in Bordeaux yesterday.

The beer pours a bright, solid red color with good head retention and considerable lacing. It's an attractive beer for sure. On the nose I pick up cherries, strawberry and Hawaiian punch. It's OK, just a bit sweeter than I was expecting. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely in this sweet, fruity tasting beer, though there's a hint of underlying tartness as well. Frankly, this beer could use considerably more tartness to balance the sweetness IMHO. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a long, sweet, lightly tart finish. Alcohol is very well integrated into the flavor profile. I was surprised to learn that it was an 8% abv. beer.

This is an OK beer, though the sweetness is a bit over the top. I assume this beer is striving to be a sweeter version of the Duchesse du Bourgogne, but it's really not in the same league with that excellent beer. Not sure this is something I need to order again anytime soon.

Deep dark impenetrable red. under a very short head or cap. Intense fruit on the nose, cherries and plums. Cherries and plums to taste, some depth. Reminds me of vermouth. Sweet but without being sticky. Full mouthfeel. Belgian ale finish. Good sipping beer full of intense flavour.
