This beer has a nice smooth effervescence and is red as advertised but tastes and smells way too sweet and too much like cherry cough drops for my taste. Definitely tastes like cherries. Would have preferred less sugar. After taste a bit like diet soda.

very red color with small carbonation bubbles lightly laceing on sides of glass smell is of artificial cherry cough syrup and hints of berry. Taste is kind of sweet with a full mouth feel. Kind of feels like I'm drinking robitussin.

overall I really feel like there a commercial brands that do a better job at even doing an artificial style beer this is definitely a pass.

This Review is from my better half. She loves, sours, fruit lambics, fruit beers, and tart wheats.

Pours a brilliant red, the smell of sweet cherries, with a pink lace head that quickly dies down to nice lace bubbles around the top. The flavor is extremely pungent of sweet cherries, very sweet and a nice warm alcohol feeling.

We only found this in belgium, she brought back 3 bottles. Anyone know where to get any in the states?

I didn't notice the cherry ear-rings on the front label's elephant when I bought this (most likely wouldn't have bought it if I had). Another reminder to wear my glasses when buying new beers.

330ml Bottle: BBD June 2014, poured into a Westmalle chalice at home during July 2013.

What can I say: it's a bloody cherry beer, too sweet and with loads of alcohol thrown in.

As the name suggests, this is a red coloured brew: the fast fading head had a light pink hue.

As the ear-rings suggested, cherries play a part in the taste, in fact they are the only flavour and aroma I got.

I thought it both sickly and disappointing. If you are into high alcohol fruit beers this might be your bag, but it's not for me.
