Deep brown with reddish highlights - aroma and flavour dominated by dried fruits - raisins, dates, prunes.

Day old tasting notes.
L: A very dark brown with some visible ruby red highlights. One finger of tan, perhaps khaki head.
S: Sweet malt. A bit of toatisness. Very sweet smelling.
T: A lot of dark fruit: plum, fig, date. Not much actual roast or coffee but a fair bit of milk chocolate. I also get a substantial english-type/earthy/metallic hop profile. Balanced toward the sweet side of things.
F: Body is far to thin for a porter IMO. A bit thin but carbonation is okay and doesn't make the beer too prickly.
O: It was okay. Maybe a bit to sweet and thin bodied for my liking, but okay.
