Brew bottled on September 23rd, 2010. Lot 193.

Amber color beer with some red in it. Dark amber. Nice head that sticks well to the glass. Clear beer. Nice looking beer.

The aroma is caramel malts with almost burnt notes in there. Floral hops present in the aroma. Taste wise is more caramel malts. This is a simple beer but it is tasty and I like it. Easy to drink and thirst quenching. The bitterness is woody.

Overall a good brew for everyday. Not a brew to sip I would say. drink this when you are thirsty. I like it.

500ml Bottle from Marche Omni QC for 4.79$

Appearance - Clear amber/copper colour with a large size frothy beige coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation and there is some faint lacing. The head lasted for over 5 minutes.

Smell - Malts, caramel, grass/herbal notes, hops, earthiness

Taste & Mouth - There is an above average amount of carbonation and I can taste hops, malts, and caramel. There is also bit of cereal flavour mixed with chocolate. As well there is some herbal and grassy notes. It ends with a grainy/malty caramel sweet aftertaste.

Overall - Most of the beers I've had from this brewer have been pretty solid. This one is no different. It has a well balanced taste and it seems like it contains quality ingredients. My one gripe is the price per bottle. Still worth a try.

Pretty good beer love their new bottles. Super classy images on all new bottles.

Great look to it. Red and tan head that holds nice.

Smell: lovely caramel with pretty assertive hops. Northern brewer yum.

Nice taste like unexpected good mat backbone with some roasty, biscuity caramel malt with good bitterness that does not make this beer cloying and makes you want another sip.

Nice mouth fell and great drinkability try it if you are looking fir a greatly crafted beer.

Sold in a brown growler of 1,86 liter, same bottle for all with a the list of product and a check to tell wich one it is.

A: red ale with a beige head. (looks like the Boréale Rousse, a quebec classic)
S: nose on the hops side, floral, probably american hops; cascade
T: stong bitter taste, bitter hops final.
M: good medium-bodied beer
D: not for everyone this one as stong hops bitterness, for connoisseur. I like this beer
