On tap at Hopleaf.
A: Served in an American pint glass. Comes out with only an 1/8th inch of white head, but even with such a minimal head, the lacing is appreciable. Very hazy yellow-amber in color.
S: Amazingly aromatic for an APA. Citrus, tropical fruits, and floral aromas abound.
T: Lightly sweet malt with loads of fresh hop goodness. Citrus, lemon oil, and a mild bitter bite. The key word here is "fresh." These hops are bright and aromatic, tasting as if they've just been picked. Wonderful.
M: Thin to medium with decent carbonation.
D: This is an impressive beer and is the only beer in the APA style which I could say could rival AK. Really an amazing beer; one which I could easily drink all night long. The only issue I have with it is that is not more readily available.
