Can Poured into imperial pint glass.
A Hazy orange. Two inches of foam that fades away slowly.
S Citrus fruit. Orange and lemon peel. Sweet malt. Dandelion. Bitter hops jump out upon a deeper smell. Very nice.
T Follows the smell. Fruity up front. A nice sweet malt balance and then the piney, flowery, hoppy bitterness follows. Bitterness remains in the aftertaste.
M Medium, but more-so than I expected due to the malts. Foamy mouthfeel with a little bit of carbonation. Finishes reel smooth.
O Excellent. I had heard good things and mostly they were on the money. Good citrus and floral punch, but the sweetness and maltyness surprised me. A nice surprise it was. Top notch for the style. Maybe the perfect beer to have while lounging in the sun.

Served on tap at Pizano's in the loop in Chicago.
Coarse white head dissipated quickly, but left very sticky rings. A clear, slightly gold-tinged straw color with light carbonation.
Smells of grapefruit and herbal notes. A drop of honey perhaps.
Taste of hops up front, more herbal then citrus on the palate. Some malty sweetness comes through mid-palate, then finishes with more bitterness.
Generally very well-integrated with medium body, but there's a hint of aqueousness on the finish.

From notes on 7/16/14 at Hopleaf in Chicago, IL
Tap in pint glass
A: Translucent amber. Drinking this side-by-side with Zombie Dust. This has more of a straw color, while Zombie dust has a more copper color. Off white thin head.
S: Relatively muted. Both the hops and malt. Slight piney notes of hops
T: More of a malt presence than Zombie Dust. The finish is dry. No up front single hop presence like ZD.
M: Well carbonated. Medium bodied. Even finish. Extremely crisp and clean.
D: Very drinkable. Nice brew. No overpowering bitterness from hops. More of a malt presence than ZD like bread and biscuits. Does not seem to showcase a particular hop like other APAs. Just an extremely all around well made beer. More even keeled than ZD and overall a better beer.
