Straight from a mason jar growler fresh from the brewery... thanks to d0b for the tip. Poured it carefully into a 22 oz. Spaten bock mug. 1st pour was ok, 2nd nearly overflowed, but left a generous rocky head that elevated itself well beyond the rim. 3rd pour I really made a mess, and it was losing carbonation by this point.

Hazy tequila sunset in the tropics, molten orange with a light unfiltered hop haze. Fresh cut botanicals in the nose, grassy hop cones, sweet clementine oranges, clean and so very fresh. The aroma is very nice, similar to the fresh drafts i've enjoyed nearby at Bad Apple.

Resiny hop leaf bitterness, backed by a solid pale malt presence. Orange peel, grassy, dry and resinous in the aftertaste. Light bodied and smooth, giving the hops top billing. Something about this combination makes it ultra sessionable... pretty much the one local APA/IPA I can't get enough of.

2010 standard growler: No carbonation issues, solid mouthfeel, what we've come to expect from Half Acre. A Chicago classic.
