16 oz can received as an extra, but I can't remember which generous BA hooked me up. Huge thanks to whoever it was!
A: Beautiful hazy orange body with a huge whipped cream head.
S: Nose is perfectly balanced PA. Crisp, tart hops on a moderate malty body.
T: Flavor is also a perfect balance. Crisp, citrus hops (amarillo?) tenuously anchored by a light to medium malt backbone. Really tasty, very quenching.
M: Zesty, high carb, tart and tangy, stripping. One of the best PA mouthfeels ever.
O: Outstanding. Just a fantastic PA. Better than SNPA, and I almost never say that.
First Half Acre brew I've had. I will seek out more.

Pours hazed golden with a nice white head that thins. Lacing sticks.
The smell is of robust citrus with some pine, hint of floral notes. Some bready/pale male mixes in.
The big citric notes stay just ahead of the biscuity malt and bready notes. Most of the bready notes are from the firm malt backing, some have a yeast character. The combination works well, though. Finishes with a bitter bite.
It is smooth despite the raw bite in the finish.
This is an enjoyable, hop-forward American Pale Ale. I'm glad a bartender at a local pub brought two pint-sized cans back from his trip to Chicago for me!
