On tap at the Brick Store Pub for their 14th Anniversary. From notes.
A. Pretty tangerine-dream gold, slightly hazy, sticky, generous lacing.
S. Big, full citrus nose. Green & full - Amarillo? Could be. Spicy and mouth-watering... shocking for such a low ABV beer, usually a nose of this caliber is found in bigger beers.
T. Flavor is loads of green, sharp flavorful bitter hops! Grassy, grapefruity, semi-dry. Medium body, reminds me of SN Southern Hemisphere... in other words, tastes wet-hopped. The malt takes a back seat to all the punchy hops. Daisy Cutter is quite good, amazingly flavorful for the abv and right on target for being an IPA, really... not sure why they're billing this as an APA with hops this forward. However you categorize it, it's quite tasty and drinkable.
If you live close enough for Daisy Cutter to be your go-to session hop fix, you are a lucky individual.

Pours hazed golden with a nice white head that thins. Lacing sticks.
The smell is of robust citrus with some pine, hint of floral notes. Some bready/pale male mixes in.
The big citric notes stay just ahead of the biscuity malt and bready notes. Most of the bready notes are from the firm malt backing, some have a yeast character. The combination works well, though. Finishes with a bitter bite.
It is smooth despite the raw bite in the finish.
This is an enjoyable, hop-forward American Pale Ale. I'm glad a bartender at a local pub brought two pint-sized cans back from his trip to Chicago for me!

Pours a pretty clear light orange with fluffy white head. No can date to be seen
Nose: fresh and effervescent- pine and sweet herbals, baked biscuity malt, darkish florals (lavender?), orange rind, some tropical fruits. Very complex
Taste: follows with fresh pine, slight melon, orange, mango, subtle over-ripe pineapple. Sweet bread, some flowers in there, finishes piney and fruity with a touch of green and mint
Feel: light-medium body, a tad watery on the palate, fresh, herbal, green, floral, fruity,
What a great beer. One of my fav pale ales. Hope to get snag some
More my next time through IL
