Can(s) purchased at the brewery & poured into Duvel tulip.

DC pours a pumpkin-skin orange with a snow-white foamy head. Great aromatics on this beer: weedy hops, with a bit of earthy tones as well. Incredible balance on this, from start to finish. For the hophead, this is the ultimate session beer. Grapefruit bitterness, with a bready malt presence to even things out. Resinous lingering on xthe back of the palate as well.

I probably drink more DC than any other beer. There is a reason for its popularity: it is incredibly solid.

A- Pours a slightly hazy bright orange with a nice white head. Head has really nice retention and leaves some really nice lacing.

S- Smell is hops all the way. Quite a bit of a grass smell, floral and lemon leading the way.

T- Follows the nose really well. Followed with a really nice bready malt back bone.

M- Medium in both body and carbonation.

O- This is a very excellent and solid brew.

A coworker picked this up for me while eh was in WI last week.

A: This pours a moderately hazy amber with a slight orange highlights. The rocky, off-white head seems to last forever and leaving some lacing on the glass. It poured with about a finger of foam to start.

S: The nose is awesome with an intense hop aroma of pineapple, moderately-high pine, citrus and mango. Moderate grassiness and a low fruity ester. There is a mild biscuit, light malt sweetness in the back.

T: The malt profile reminds me that oh yeah this is a pale ale, not one of the better smelling IPAs. The moderately-high hops flavors of pineapple, citrus and pine dominate the flavor along with a moderately-high hops bitterness. There is a little bit of malt support but no caramel like an IPA, just a slight malt sweetness and flavor. The balance is all hops and bitterness with a lingering bitterness and a dry finish. A lime-like fruitiness becomes evident as it comes up to temperature.

M: It's got a moderately-light body with a moderately-high carbonation. There is a very slight creaminess and not astringency.

O: What an impressive if not wildly unbalanced Pale Ale that serves as a wonderful showcase for the hops.

16oz can thanks to makdeco. Poured into founders snifter.

A- Pours a slightly hazy orange golden with about a 3 finger thick bubbly foamy head that has good retention and leaves nice frothy layered lacing. Head slowly recedes to a thin layer of white foam.

S- Citrusy and floral hops, lemons, honey, clementines, and some pale malts in the background. Definitely above average aroma strength and one of the best smelling APAs I've encountered.

T- Citrusy hops that provide tastes of lemon, honey, clementines, and a slight floral presence. Finishes with some pale malts, a tiny bit of lemon zest that comes out the more you drink it, and a lightly sweet citrusy aftertaste. Everything is very well balanced and pleasant to drink.

M- Fairly light bodied, a decent amount of carbonation (maybe a tiny bit too much), refreshing, and very easy to drink.

O- This is definitely one of new favorite APAs, right up there with Edward and Row 2/Hill 56. Everything is very well balanced with a very nice hop presence that balances nicely with the pale malts. If a tiny bit of the lemon zest and carbonation was dulled down a little bit I would say this would probably be my new favorite APA. I definitely recommend trying it out.

I have no idea how this beer is rated so high. Maybe the keg I had it from was bad. I drank two sips and have it to my friend, the beer disposal.

Single finger head on a hazy copper with golden hues body. Aroma is weak with light malts more on the pale and grainy side with some citrus and earthy notes. The flavor very bland with weak malt and hop content. Earthy and metallic notes dominate. Too carbonated and medium body. The beer just wasn't good in any way.

Graciously received after winning the Inception LIF within the Streak the Beer LIF from ruizjoseph. Thanks again!

A - a murky light yellowish orange with a nice sized white bubbly head, looks enjoyable

S - Hops, fresh and citrusy, with a bit of pine notes smells like a good fresh hop

T - a slight sweetness that bitters into a tropical fruity finish, nice taste and good bit of mouthfeel

O - A really good APA, definitely one of the best I've had, it has a lot of qualities and pungent smell of an IPA with a slightly subdued taste, really good beer
