16 oz. can poured into a Starr Hill pint glass. No canning date info to be found.

A - Pours a pretty standard pale ale golden orange with a finger of pure white head. Shows nearly perfect clarity, good retention, and sticky lacing.

S - Smells of powerful grapefruit and vibrant floral hops. Just a touch of biscuit malt on the back end. This smells like a beer I will probably enjoy.

T - Initial bursts of citrus on the tongue, most notably grapefruit. Alternating sensations of rose, honey, and biscuity malt. Clean grains and citrus on the finish, with slightly bitter floral linger.

M - Light-medium body with mellow carbonation. Probably the weakest aspect of the beer.

O - I typically only drink APA when I am looking for a session beer, not when I will sit down an review. This one caught my attention because of the tall can and good reviews. I was impressed with the flavor this one had in a low gravity offering. Big floral hops and citrus notes are perfectly complimented by the subtle biscuit/cracker malts. Next time I am in need of an outdoor sessionable beer with loads of flavor, this is where I will turn. Highly recommended.

Awesome, forgot this beer existed but have always been interested in trying it. Thanks Cam.

Pours light orange with some dusty sediment. White head starts at a few fingers in height but retains as a full cap while leaving some lace.

Lots of danky citrus hops, grapefruit, and some grainy malts in the scent. Strong for a pale ale.

Taste is nice as well, good mix of citrus, peach, grassy and danky hops. Some biscuity malts provide a backbone but mostly pure hoppage. Reminds me of a Hill Farmstead pale ale.

Smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonation, refreshing, light.

Awesome stuff, definitely one of the O.G.'s when it comes to this kind of hop flavor, in a can especially. Glad to have this one back on my radar.

I poured it from a can into a pint glass, it has a nice light copper color body with a small head that lays down quite quickly to a thin lace. The smell has a nice citrus aroma to it, with a little bit of malt coming through also.
The taste has a great citrus, pine, hop flavor that is balanced well with the malt. Then on the finish it has a floraly hop flavor that lingers on the back of the tongue.
The mouthfeel is really good, smooth APA, and overall i would drink this more often, if it was avaiable to me more often.

Served on tap at the BWW in Waukegan IL.

Pours light pale bronze. Nice layer of white foam. Cols masks the floral hop. Taste is a very nice malt hop blend - smooth and subtle. Light lingering bitter. Chewy mouthfeel. Very easy drinker but real flavorful. Quite good. 4 35 4 4 4
