On-tap, served in a pint

Pours a hazy golden orange with a creamy 1+ finger of foam. Great staying power with clingy lace. Pretty looking beer

The nose is all over the place. Every time I lean in I get a little something different. Fresh cut flowers, grapefruit, weed, pine needles, and fresh cut grass. There is a lightly toasted biscuit malt backdrop.

The flavor profile is similar. Flowers and citrus up front with a little bit of weed and pine through the middle. The finish is mildly bitter and grassy/earthy.

Lighter body, approaching medium in spots, with good carbonation. Crisp, easy drinker with a good amount of flavor. Diverse hop profile makes this an interesting drinker.

I really enjoyed this guy. Love the layering of flavors from the hops. This is welcome in my glass anytime.

Another beer courtesy of cpolking and his recent package, thanks man. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a rich golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is big on hops, lots of citrus. Taste is hoppy up front, tart, a good bit of citrus, a malt balance is present, bitter at the finish. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall a quality brew worth seeking out.

Enjoyed at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Red Bar this pale ale shows a clear golden amber color with a healthy white foam and good lacing to boot. The aroma brings pronounced grass-citrus hops and nutty-earthy malt. Very nice and pleasantly hoppy for a pale. The flavor is a clean grass hop with a lemony edge over mild bready caramel malt. Light but not watery at all, with a very sessionable but crisp and refreshing feel. Very nice and probably something that will please anyone that is tolerable of hops!

Can is at least 6 months old, so hops may have weakened.

Pours a fairly hazy apricot color with a solid one finger ivory head that dissipates, leaving significant lacing.

Aroma is instantly dominated by citrus fruit and resin. Orange, grapefruit, apricot, and bready caramel malt surface.

Flavor is tart citrus fruit and bitter pith, grapefruit, and resin, which are carried by a slightly bready malt backbone into a fairly bitter and peppery finish.

Body is moderate with moderately low carbonation. A hint of astringency is present.

Overall, an excellent pale ale. Would love to try it fresh. Good balance between hop flavor and bittering.

Poured from pint can into pint glass. Color is light copper or amber. Head is thick and lingers for a while.
Odor is very high. Lots of floral and some citrus. A little pine as well.
Taste is light and citrus at first. Then quickly the floral and pine notes come on. They linger through to the end.
Feel is a little light on the tongue. Relatively smooth. Nice feel overall.
Overall a very good pale ale. Brewery is very good as well.

This is as solid and drinkable a pale ale as you will find. Crisp and refreshing, light-bodied, but packs enough hop punch to satisfy your humulus lupulus cravings.

Daisy Cutter is a tip of the cap to the hop's slightly more famous cousin. It smells like weed. And it's awesome.

Tastes kind of like weed too. Some other subtle floral and citrus notes round out the flavor.

This is one of the most refreshing beers I've ever tasted. It tastes like cutting the grass on a hot summer day.

Great beer.

16 oz. can into only glassware I had at hand...a chalice. Oh well.

A: Pours a slightly chill-hazed bright orange with a very nice one finger frothing white head. The lacing is obscenely good on this brew, too.

S: Smell is raw, leafy floral hops, lemon zest, and a really grassy, earthy overtone.

T: The raw leafy hops continue into the taste. There's a nice bitter grassy taste throughout the drink as well as bitter orange and lemon rind. There's a nice bready malt base to support everything else going on. It's citrusy but not sweet at all.

M: Mouth is smooth, slightly thicker side of medium. Not as easily drinkable as it should be for a 5.2% beer.

O: A brilliantly complex and flavorful APA. It's different, but good. Mouthfeel is slightly off, but otherwise top-notch. Definitely one of the best session ales you can get in the Chicago area.

16oz tallboy can

Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a 3cm head and almost no lacing on the glass. Smell is pungent grassy hops, lemon heads candy, and a little warm malt/alcohol. Very pleasant. Taste is very bitter daisies up front, subdued malt, and a grassy/floral hop aftertaste. It does have an odd metallic taste at times. Mouthfeel is medium, very drinkable, but somewhat lacking in carbonation.

Great tasting, excellent smelling pale.
