Served this 16 oz. undated can in a Sierra Nevada hops glass. I purchased this 6 pack from the brewery store, so I assume it is pretty fresh! The body was medium gold and clear. There was a white soapy head that left a fine cap but minimal lacing.
The smell was spicy and grainy. Fresh but not especially bold. Solid.
The taste was fresh grain, cereal. A slight sourness (in a good way) was evident. Crackers. There was a nice, gentle bitterness in the aftertaste. Well balanced and easy to drink. I usually don't care much for American Blonde Ales but this one is actually one I would buy again.
The mouthfeel was medium to thin with a smooth, mild carbonation.

Had this in a can before and wasn't all too impressed. On draft, however, it is damn near sublime.
Rich pils and medium strength American hops blend into a lightly bitter, lightly verdant, very grassy aroma.
Tastes it smells, only with some softer fruit nodes tossed in for variation. Grass, dandelions, strawberries, light spicy hops at the end and then a pronounced ale yeast finish of more spice. Starts out grassy, sweet, and wet, ends dry as a Brut champagne.
One of the very best American blondes I have ever had.
