My first (of hopefully many) growler fill from the brewery. Poured into a tumbler pint.
A - Rust-orange, slightly hazy with an foamy eggshell head of 3 fingers. Decent retention, moderate lacing.
S - Pine trees, pineapples, a hint of fresh grass. A supporting scent of toffee lurks underneath. Smells like a well-balanced, if slightly hop-forward IPA.
T - The elements from the nose are present here, but not quite as strong as the aroma would suggest. The toffee-caramel malt is more of a muddled sweet bread, but still provides a nice complement.
M - Medium body, strong but not overwhelming carbonation. Finishes hoppy, slightly spicy.
O - Very excited to try some more of these HA one-offs, Ginger Twin was a great introduction. Not sure a bomber would be worth seeking out, but a growler is an excellent format for this beer.

Gorgeous mahogany in color, one of the prettiest pours I've see.
Immediately smacked by ginger, but the sweet caramel hints balance the bitterness of the ginger well.
Taste is all ginger and very bitter, not at all sweet as the nose hinted.
Mouthfeel is a bitter one.
Overall this beer is a great snifting beer, but as soon as it hits the lips it kind of disappoints.

Pours a deep copper garnet with a creamy dense head. Great legs on the lacing.
Aroma blast of grapefruit billing. Roast malt and herbal hop.
Spicy bite to it. Moderate hop bitterness, almost grassy and pine. Malt sweetness and grainy.
Creamy and lush mouthfeel. Very satiating.
Looking at these ginger twins in their seafaring garb makes me want to put down a shot of Jameson while I go on-I dunno. Very tasty amber red that really should not be passed on. Affordable and a formidable contender.
