Appearance: Solid gold with decent foam. Lacing is just ok, but very sudsy. Color is very heavy and thick. I love the color.
Smell: Slightly oaky with evident grapefruit. A bit too subdued.
Taste/Mouthfeel: While (Single) Daisy Cutter exhibits the grassy and lemony notes of a good IPA, Double Daisy Cutter hones in on the grapefruit notes. Very citrusy and the booze packs a punch. Quite smooth for an IPA, especially a double. Yeasty.
Overall Drinkability: Not quite as good as its counterpart, but definitely a beer worth a few tries.
Serving type: on-tap
