2017 notes:
Lightly hazed, bright golden lasting white head.
In the nose: Fruity aromatics, big citrus and sweet tropical, low bitterness. Kinda nice.
In the mouth: Juicy/fruity at first. Little bit sweet, with minor hop bitterness. After pouring this can, the fact that it is brewed with guava completely left my mind, unless I started drinking. Guava's all over this. A little bit of apricot/tangerine in here, too. Below it all, some of the alpha acids are peeking through, just enough to make it an IPA, not an APA. The guava flavor seems to tamp down, just a bit, but it's juicy all the way through. Very nice.

Poured 16oz can into snifter. It is a lighter amber orange, clear and has a 2 finger white head. Thick cap remains for the session and the lacing is minimal. Heavy aromas of guava and other citrus hops. This beer has one of the biggest guava and lime flavors on the first sip. It is slightly tart and bitter. The malts are laid back with mild sweet caramel notes. It is a lighter body for a IPA and that is okay. Slightly resinous and sticky. Solid flavored IPA from HA.

16oz draft poured into a pint glass shows a gold colored body floating miniscule whitish head and leaving no lacing.
Aroma is an exciting mix of tropical fruit and citrus.
Flavor matches.
Mouthfeel leans lighter and finishes clean.
Overall a very nice collaboration. Apparently there were just enough cooks for this broth.

Tall can, 06/20/17 stamped on the bottom, so about 3 weeks in the can
Pours very typical almond amber looking, slight haze, off white moderate cap and leave just a smidge here and a blob there of thicker lacing.
Fruited up nose
On the palate its more soft fruit notes, a hint of smoke and dry hops....lighter and quite easy drinking (gotta be pretty bad beer not to be "easy drinking") I am not sure what guave actually tasts like and others have commented about how this beer is guava overload...tastes pretty good to me, fruity n flavorful with a dry finish....more quality beer in tall cans...the state of the USA beer world is excellent
