Poured on tap at tap room 20 oz.
Poured a hazy, very dark orange to light brown with a small fingers worth of white head. Hop forward nose with orange teases as the citra hop shows it's lovely character. Palate follows the nose closely with a huge citra hop presence. Big tropical fruit hits mid sip. The finish is a great balance between malt and dry hop. Really nice medium mouth feel as it isn't quite as big as I have become accustomed to. Low carbonation makes this ale extremely drinkable really enjoying this. Overall, damn, I now know why Half Acre is so highly looked on with those that live in their distro area. Super friendly staff at the taproom bartender Adam is great. The tap room is cool concrete bar with a fake bear head. All in all I will be coming back here for growers once my bottle stoppers are in. Cheers.

22oz brown bomber, no freshness date.
Its like getting slapped in the face with a bag of oranges while chewing on a marmalade sandwich. A big IPA that almost straddles the line between AIPA and DIPA. Seek a bottle out if you can.
LOOK: Orange amber, clear with a beautiful lacing
SMELL: Citric zest, mint, faint caramel, fresh pine sap, tobacco, pineapple skin
TASTE: Macerated whole oranges, very smooth, medium body, marmalade, bread crust, hop bitterness, warming alcohol, cashews, peppery, papaya

Reddish-copper in color with a slight haze.
Fresh pine, orange zest, resin, white and yellow flowers, tangellos and a lightly dank quality.
Citrus, pine needles, resin, nutmeg, light brown sugar, roasted malt.
Medium bodied and very clean on the palate. Just the right amount of bitterness.
While some of the descriptors are sweet, there is nothing sweet about this beer. Great balance and a masterful use of bittering in the hops to just the right proportion. Finishes wonderfully clean and smooth. Really well done.

Growler poured into a FFF tulip
A - Deep, reddish brown with orange tint. Small layer of foam on the side.
S - Floral with sweet citrus, pineapple, light orange peel, and sweet strawberry. Very nice, complex and strong nose.
T - Slight pine bitterness with nice orange citrus in the middle. The strawberry comes in the middle to give it a nice sweetness. The floral and a slight bitterness that comes in the finish.
MF - Light body with light carbonation in it. Slight hop resin remains on the tongue in the finish.
O - Nice light hoppy beer with a lot of flavor. I like the strawberry and red fruits with the floral aspect. The strawberry fruit makes me wonder if they threw in Galaxy hops to get that flavor.

on tap @ the brewery
served in that dope half acre stemware - bright coppery orange body - this is a great IPA - nice waves of tropical fruit, sugary goodness, pine needles, sweet sappy goodness. Really nice stuff - apparently my palate was just blown when i tried this at GABF, because I really liked this at the brewery.

Poured a nice clean dark amber/copper with a lightly thick and sticky off white head.
The smell is very english, with what seems like touches of fuggles and goldings and a nice bready malt smell, some nice citrus tones come through as well.
The flavor is very bready and malty with a clean pine hoppyness running throughout. I'm loving the heavy english crystal in this along with what seems to be a nice even level of chinook hops making this clean and piney, and a nice medium bitterness.
The mouthfeel is clean and dry with a touch of resin.
Very nice, I like this a bunch. Different enough to stand out in the crowded IPA segment, yet still drinkable and good without resorting to anything gimmicky.

Hazy golden orange with an inch of white head and sticky lacing. It has a nice contiuous effervescent stream of carbonation.
Smells of tropical fruit, peach, and pine. The malt is bready and brown sugar sweet It's very aromatic.
It has a pretty good balance of hop and malt, bitter and sweet. The pine is a bit more resinous than in the smell. Orange and peach. It has a sweet backing from the malt. The finish has a slight touch of dish soap and is very bitter.
Good carbonation, but the mouthfeel has an astringency that dries out my tongue. Medium body.
This is a re-review and I scored it out much higher than when I had it from the bottle. At least from my notes, the flavor and aroma were more pronouncedthis time around.
