16 fl oz. can, canned 01/08/24. Three week old IPA not so bad to me.
A: Pours a nice golden orange. Honeyed, almost 'English IPA' in appearance. Finger of frothy off-white / tan foam.
S: Aroma is malty & lightly floral.
T: Fruity - berryish & floral. Bready & malty. Good balance of flavors. Mosaic hops? Centennial? I'd love to know for sure.
F: Super smooth, crisp, clean, & light. Body is super drinkable with excellent carb.
Overall, solid af. A classical call to the styles of old.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $3.49. Canned on 2/9/22, so this is just over 4 months old.
Look: Pours out a completely clear, medium copper color with a pinky finger of khaki-colored head. The foam is compact bubbles and dissipates slowly, leaving a very thin layer. Looks very appealing.
Smell: The smell is primarily pine along with some orange zest and peppery notes. There's some maltiness on the back end. Smells very nice.
Taste: This is delicious. It's really easy to drink and it doesn't have a dominant profile one way or another. Of course, it's an American IPA so it is resinous and bitter, but it also has a nice maltiness to it and the mouthfeel is clean and crisp. You could say that it is a balanced IPA. Up front, it's very mild with subtle notes of orange zest, apricot, and mango. The finish is moderately bitter (or moderately plus bitter) with long-lingering notes of pine needles, resin, tobacco, and pepper. It's really enjoyable in its uncomplicated, straightforward way. After the bitterness finally subsites from the palate, I can detect some malty caramel notes.
Feel: Very crisp and clean with a medium body.
Overall: Kudos to Half Acre on producing another deliciously drinkable IPA. The fact that this is still so vibrant and fresh-tasting after being canned 4+ months ago is a testament to the high quality of Half Acre Beer Company.
From the website:
Brewed in homage to a friend that used to be a fixture at our brewery. We adopted him. He adopted us. He loved hoppy beer with vigor, but he loved his two huskies, Moon and Luna, even more. While he fled the planet for higher ground, his vibes course through the brewery and this liquid is his. Big nectarine/apricot, fleshy mango, slight shortbread malt sweetness, balanced bitterness throughout, overripe soft stone fruit.

This one might have you just by the popping open of a pint can. There's a malty and hoppy aroma that just properly belongs to an IPA. After the contents are emptied into a clear glass liter mug, its beautiful bronze amber color can be observed. It's almost shiny bright and for all its rich color, rather translucent. No haziness to be found here. Once inside an open mouthed vessel, its aroma can be more fully enjoyed. The malt is sweet, but complexly so, like a freshly baked whole grain bread loaf. The hops are still in there, too. They seem to carry a piney and earthy aspect with them. It has a good taste, but the body is a little thin. There just doesn't seem to be as much malt as the nose predicted. The taste suffers from it, too, but not as much as the mouthfeel. Make no mistake, this is a very good American IPA, but the eyes and nose would have you expecting a little more. Not to be overlooked, this has a wonderful hoppy bite, sort of piney and maybe even a little more bitter, especially during the dry finish. The modest white head lasts until the end, but there's no glass lacing. There's enough malt to keep the hops in a reasonable balance, so there's no arguing that this isn't one good tasting ale. It really isn't broken enough to need any fixing.

A good old school style IPA. Opaque copper color with minimal head and lacing. Citrusy, malty, and mildly dank scents. Mildly juicy, a bit of dank bitterness. Clean, crisp, mild booze presence. Good.

Clear orange pour, big, soapy eggshell head and lotsa lacing. Nose gets some citrus, pine and a bit of caramel. Smooth, creamy, continual carbonation. Nice beer.
