Bomber pour, cloudy peach color with a thick white head quickly reduced to thin white lacing. Aroma is subtle but pine with strong tropical fruits-- mango, and peach, with some dank notes. Taste is unusually sweet, very fruity -- mostly citrus and peach -- with pine flavors and a mildly bitter finish. Nice carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden. Not overly complex but very drinkable. Could have a few of these a week.

Thanks stillmatic2232 for the chance to try this one.

A DIPA with Mosaic, Simcoe and Centennial? Sign me the hell up.

Pours an amber orange color, with a one inch head that descends to an oily film on top, with a lot of soapy lacing.

Smells like pine, grapefruit, lemon, and some bitter alcohol.

This one tastes great, but is quite strong. The alcohol is present, but is a good flavor within the beer. There is a strong pine resin bitterness, lots of juicy tropical fruit flavors, a bit of cattiness, some lemon, grapefruit, orange, and mango, and sticky sweet malt behind it all. A big bruiser for sure, not particularly "complex" but incredibly tasty.

This one is medium bodied, with a sticky sweet mouthfeel, and a low amount of carbonation. Pretty drinkable, even with the ABV.

This is quite an excellent hop bomb, with a pretty righteous label too.

650ml bottle, July 2014 release, poured into a Half Acre Willibecher glass.

The beer pours a nice orange-copper color, hues of apricot and gold, lightly hazy with a decent amount of bubbles racing around in the glass with a thick, finger or so of white, soapy head that has nice retention and leaves behind a great amount of sticky lace. The aroma is of bitter pine, light grapefruit and tropical fruits, but it's predominately piney, earthy and grassy with nice hop spice but sticky malt counterbalances fairly well. The flavors mirror well, plenty of piney hop bitterness, hop spice, grapefruit peel with some layered tropical fruit and thick, sticky, sweet malt linger behind. The mouthfeel is okay, a bit light, but with nice carbonation levels, moderate to low, coats the mouth well, but feels very sticky and sappy, very dry finish.

Verdict: A nice DIPA from Half Acre, perhaps a bit too piney and bitter, without much depth or complexity, but balanced within itself. The sticky body plays well with the piney elements but not my favorite hoppy offering from Half Acre.

Bright ruby orange in appearance with a sticky dank look to it that sure looks appealing.

The wonderfully fruity scent of orange and pineapple are balanced beautifully by a firm spicy malt backbone.

This is marvelously sticky, citrusy, tropical, and slightly spicy.

Mouthfeel has some bite, but goes down smooth in the end.

Overall, I wish I lived closer to Half Acre, because they keep putting out some damn brews!

Appearance: Arrives with a hazy copper capped by a decent head that does an even better job lacing

Smell: Tropical fruit with papaya, lychee and a hint of tangerine

Taste: Opens with a tropical fruit cocktail flavor filled with all the tones detected on the nose; the bitterness never really builds to the extent I expected but the flavors linger and bring on a bit of alcohol in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation and some warmth in the gullet

Overall: Overall, I was expecting a bit more, particularly from Half Acre; still, an enjoyable beer even though it never scales the peaks
