On-tap at the tap room. Served in a 5oz taster.
A - White foam settles to a partial cap, collar, and splotchy lacework. Transparent golden blonde body, as a good Kölsch should be.
S - Yeasty blonde ale, with some nebulous earthy hopping. Come mild cereal grain sweetness mixed in for good measure. Not sure I would have guessed Kölsch here.
T - The taste is better, with a bit of the white grape character amid the toasted toasted cereal grains and nebulous fruitiness. Light floral hopping and no obvious bitterness.
M - Dry, grainy, medium-light body, with moderate carbonation. Pretty clean; doesn't linger on the palate. Refreshing.
D - OK beer that's not totally to style. Easy to drink, no serious problems, but largely forgettable.
