Had this stupendously good beer at the Half Acre Tap Room. Pours a beautiful golden orange. Strong scent of grapefruit and lemon. Taste is similar but much more intense. Body is medium and after a day of golf and mowing the lawn this beer went down oh so smoothly. Just wish I could take some home with me.

June 2014 release on tap at Half-Acre.
A: Cloudy apricot in color with less than a finger of foamy white head that settles into a light cap, leaving a light lacing around the crown of the glass.
S: Textbook citra hop character upfront: chivey and citrusy, but not overwhelmingly fruity or perfumy. Some pine, some sweet malt and alcohol.
T: Some grass, some citrus rind, but mostly I'm getting that chive taste that just doesn't sit well with me.
M: Light to medium body with sufficient carbonation. I can see this being someone's favorite hot day beer.
O: Folks are raving over this beer, but it's just okay to me... nothing special, and definitely not the shining citra showcase it's been made out to be.
