When you walk in it has an intimate pub-ish feel - not too brightly lit, the furniture and bar a bit worn so it has the feel of an establishment that has been around a while. Music is not too loud. TVs are few, and when I was there they were turned off, probably because there was not a major game on. The waitstaff are alert, friendly and helpful. Kitchen staff are very good - they cooked my salmon spot on to my liking. Also, they sure know how to pour a Guinness! Their beer selection may be a bit skimpy, but it is a great place to meet with a few friends or a couple dozen.

Convinced some friends to head down here as it has the best selection of any _bar_ in the Highlands (Taco Mac has a better selection, but I wouldn't consider it a bar).

Atmosphere is good. It has a British pub feel and lots of seating outside, another good thing about this bar. For those of you who loath smoke this is one of the few places in Atlanta where you have to go outside.

Quality is good - standard pint glasses that are unchilled. Pours are good with the right amount of head.

Service is good. The bartender did a good job on a crowded Saturday night to get my beer drawn quickly even with all the jager bomb orders going around.

Selection is good. As I said before, if you're in the Highlands this is your best bet for quality beer besides Taco Mac. Standard English choices such as Guinness, Harp, and Bass, along with others such as 60 Minute.

Prices are a bit much, about a dollar more than they should be.

Overall this isn't a bad place to end up, the outside seating is key in this place.

Stopped in late at night after I'd been at a friend's wedding. I was kinda tipsy by the time I got there, but I remember it well. Nice atmosphere with a big porch and several rooms inside. Typical British pub atmosphere - lots of wood, Guinness signs on the wall, etc. It was VERY crowded on a Saturday night, but there was still room to move around a bit. Selection was limited but all-around high quality - Fuller's, Guinness, Harp, Hoegaarden, etc. Pint prices are pretty damn high, though - over $5 for most beers. Bartenders were incredibly pleasant and efficient for how busy they were. Not a bad place, and probably great when it's not completely packed.
