I've stopped by several times while in Seattle on business. Full Throttle is in an old industrial area on the north side of Boeing Field. They sell beer, wine and related products such as beer glasses.

They have a decent selection of Northwest and west coast beers as well as some Belgians and other Europeans. Most of it is refrigerated. They have space to carry a lot more but maybe they need to develop a bigger customer base to support that. Erika, the owner, is very helpful and really cares about her customers.

Full Throttle is a good store and worth a stop if you're in the area.

I have been to Full Throttle Bottles in Georgetown on numerous occasions and have been pleased with each visit. Their selection is quite good, though on par with other specialty beer stores in the area. The staff there have been helpful in pointing out interesting beers; they are quite knowledgeable and usually have some kind of backstory or anecdote about the beer in question when making recommendations.

Full Throttle Bottles also has an interesting incentive program whereby if you buy $100 in beer (you get a stamp card with $10 increments), you get 11% off your next purchase. Quite the deal!

A good addition to bottle stores in Seattle. They have a great selection of current seasonal and regular beers, wine, mead and cider. It would be nice to see a cooler dedicated to aged or rare beers in the future.

Mostly American beers, with a cooler or two dedicated to Belgians and another couple to Europe. Lots of good glassware for sale too. Beers are labeled, as "pick of the month", or if they are awarded anything at a festival or magazine, which is helpful in trying something new, but the best way to find a good new beer is to ask whoever is working. On the multiple visits I have made, the staff has been very chatty and helpful. I don't think I have ever taken a beer home from this store and regretted it.

For me customer service is always more important then saving a couple dollars. A lot of what they have can be found at other stores, sometimes for a little less $$, but I like giving beer money to knowledgeable, friendly beer stores, and these folks will definitley get my business in the future.

The location of a few beer and wine specialty stores has kept me from checking them out. I've known about two of them for quite some time - just never got off my ass to get down to either of them. Until today...

The Georgetown located Full Throttle Bottles is one of the two stores. The space is quite large compared to some of the other shops around town.

Wine is to the left with beer to the right as you walk in. Selection was good - with a few in demand beers still available which was a pleasant surprise.

The staff (Erika was there today) was beyond friendly and very approachable. They also have a stamp program which is a nice touch.

I'll be heading back soon!

Edit: I've been back since my initial review and I will continue to support them. Quality shop!

Full Throttle Bottles is in the gentrifying strip of Georgetown. The main negative is parking sucks. Street plus a lot. but they share the lot with a popular bar and a lot of the local workers park there during the day. If you go during commute when the street is no parking you will probably have a tough time.

But it's worth it.

The have both beer and wine and some mead selections plus a few ecclectic sodas.

I'm pretty impressed with their beer selection. I saw pretty much no super-market beers (even the good locals that are in supermarkets aren't here.) But there is lots of craft and smaller imported brews. I managed to pick up some locals that I haven't had yet.

The staff (owners) are super friendly and they have a customer loyalty stamp card.

Check it out!

A newish beer store located in Georgetown south of the city. Very nice selection and a super attentive and helpful staff. Their prices are about $0.50 -> $1 more than others in town but I like the fact that they are a small business and that I can help support them and the new upcoming neighborhood.

Their frequent buyer card program is very nice: a stamp for every $10; for 10 stamps u get %11 off your next purchase.
