Certainly not a destination store like Dépanneur Peluso or Fromagerie Atwater or Le Paradis de la Bière. I only patronize this location if I'm in the area. As mentioned, the Asian owners are friendly but unfortunately speak neither English nor French and have only a passing knowledge of their merchandise. It's like someone told them to keep watch on the beer until they got back. I spent an agonizing 10 minutes trying to explain which beer I was looking for (Beerbrier) before they explained that the supplier dropped them. If you are smitten with Charlevoix brands you are in luck, however--they have them in spades. My last experience there (2 days ago) was positive--they were able to locate some new stock and threw in some bonus bottles (I assume it's because I spoke French). The previous time 3 months ago I spoke English and noticed that I got cheated at the cash (tourist tax).

One of the big problems with this place is that the owners don't even speak french or english.
Its suprising how they end up having all these Quebec beers. I ask the owner for special request and we just could'nt understand each other. The good part is you can always count on stocks of: Les trois Mousquetaires, Le Grimoire, Bilboquet, Brasseurs de Charlevoix, Les Frères Houblon, La Barberie and many more...
I Live next to the place so its quite a handy, but not worth the detour..

This one is in Ahuntsic, in the northern part of the island of Montreal.
Walking in, there's a sense of openess, a bit of a warehouse feel.
The beer is (you guessed it!) in the back. Lots of strewn cases lying around with assorted beers. I'd say half the beer is refrigerated. I found the selection a bit wanting as they only had a handful of selections from the craft brewers and they didn't have them all. Most of the usual suspects were there with a good representation of Charlevoix.
Service was not really present though i didn't ask them for anything.
Don't go out of your way to come here, but if you happen to be in the immediate area, you can get your craft beer fix.
