Boucherville is a suburb of Montreal, parallel to the east-end of Montreal on the other side of the St-Lawrence river.
This beer store is actually a grocery store, part of a chain called Metro (same as Joannette). The store is located right on the highway 132 East, you can't miss it.
Walking in, i pass the cashiers and see that the beer section is immediately afterwards, on my left. I see lots of DDC & Au Maitre Brasseur as well as, to my surprise, some Bieropholie. Lots of glassware available also. As i keep going, i see more beer, some refrigerated, some at room temp. Most Quebec micros are here including the new Brasseurs de Montreal. Unfortunately, no Brasseurs & Freres or Charlevoix. Almost all beers are available as singles, except the mixed pack from DDC :(
There was also en extensive array of gift boxes from Trois Mousquetaires, St-Arnould, etc...
Service at grocery stores is a pet peeve of mine and here was no exception. Though i know what i want, i did have a question and the first person i asked didn't know so i wandered around (daughter in tow) until i found another who couldn't answer me(!) but then he found me the person who was in charge of the beers and all was well. This rant is not exclusively directed here but at all grocery stores where i always seem to encounter the same frustrations.
If you're in the area, it's worth the stop but if you've never been in a Quebec grocery store, be warned that service is hard to come by.
