Pour is a nice deep amber orange. Dense tan head, but minimal. Fading quickly.

Nose is modest with some soft spice, orange, and a little hop. Nothing to massive here.

Taste is bursting with orange at first, followed quickly by absurdly dry and bitter hops. Lacking a bit in the depth department here. Again, a little hint of spice. Little sweet at the end too, almost a touch of maple or sweetened condensed milk.

Feel is just too thin. Leaves a little coating in your mouth, but the sip just feels hollow.

Big beer, but just not really well balanced. Juice is lost, hops are too big without the complexity to make it interesting. Mouth feel is the biggest let down. Oh well. On to another one...

Poured on tap at Rock Art brewery in Morrisville into a small taster pint glass.

Identical to it's regular IPA, pale golden amber body, cloudy slightly with small rising carbonation that comes up slowly. Head is a little bit creamier though in appearance.

Nose is quite interesting. Large mint hop angle bitter, sweet herbal notes. Light sugars mix in there a bit also. Quite nice and unique.

Taste has mild grain upfront, faint and dry. Mild hop bitterness seems to mix with the mint action as well. Same wet palate as the regular IPA, with a lingering herbs of green tea.

Overall much like the IPA but better and a great herbal and mint flavor. I could drink this again.
